Adblock Plus is a community-driven open source project, and many interested volunteers have come forward to show their support and contribute to the success of the initiative in making sure that all annoying ads are automatically blocked from disturbing your online experience. This feature, however, can still be disabled by you anytime you want. This allows some small and static ads that are not intrusive in any way on your web browser.
The Adblock Plus community recently introduced the Acceptable Ads initiative. Adblock Plus for Google Chrome can be used to block annoying ads online which includes banners, Vimeo video ads, Facebook advertisements, pop-ups, and all other frustrating ads that make your browsing tiring.
